Abstract
This Legislative Decree promulgates the Agreement between Brazil and the USA on the pacific use of nuclear energy. The agreement, consisting of 14 articles and 1 Annex, establishes terms and conditions to be satisfied in order to perform the above mentioned activity. A table listing nuclear materials is attached to the Annex. The agreement was signed in Bras lia on 14 October 1997.
