This Act makes provision with respect to distress for rent not paid by a tenant to a landlord. It gives powers to a landlord claiming arrears of rent to seize and secure goods of the tenant including crops.

An Act enabling the sale of goods distrained for rent in case the rent be not paid in a reasonable time.
