Abstract
The Act provides for the generation, supply, distribution and transmission of electricity produced by hydro power, coal, gas, fuel, solar contraptions, wind or atomic energy. Individuals or companies, both national and foreign, must apply for a license to operate all energy production and distribution activities. No nationalization plan shall be instituted but royalties must be paid in order to operate and charges shall be issued to final users (citizen, communities etc,etc,. Inspections of facilities and premises shall be carried out to enforce the provisions of the Law and ensure the safety and security of aforesaid operations.
