Abstract
The Government Ordinance, which is composed of 22 articles and four Annexes, establishes provisions concerning: groups of beet which must be registered and the seed of which must fulfill conditions and requirements established by the Act on varieties and seeds as regards production and marketing; quality requirements applicable to beet; requirements for the production of beet seed; conditions of marketing of beet seed; conditions of control of imported beet seed; details on packaging and labelling of beet seed; way and scope of control of the quality of beet seed placed on the market.
