Plant Protection (Control of Quarantine Pest) Order, 2011 (S.I. No. 28 of 2011).

This Order, made under the Plant Protection Act, places restrictions on the movement out of controlled areas of plant material, goods and conveyances for purposes of preventing the spreading of a pest called Achatina fulica. Any movement out of a controlled area shall be authorized by an officer of Plant Protection. The Schedule to this Order lists controlled areas.
