Abstract
This Ordinance provides rules for the marking of wine, alcoholic beverages and wine sector products in order to protect the interests of consumers and producers, and for the good functioning of the wine and alcoholic beverage market.
The Ordinance provides for both obligatory and facultative indications in labelling table wine, table wine with geographic indication, quality wine of a definite region, effervescent wine, fizzy wine, noble sweet wine, imported wine, and alcoholic beverages. Labels shall indicate the commercial name, actual alcohol contents, geographic indication, etc.
