Decree No. 10.320 approving the Regulations of the Goiana Agricultural Defense Agency (AGRODEFESA) amending Decree No. 10.218 of 16 February 2023.

This Decree approves the Regulation of the Goiás Agricultural Defense Agency (AGRODEFESA) amending Decree No. 10.218 of 16 February 2023 on the basic administrative organization of the State Executive Branch. AGRODEFESA, as part of the indirect administration of the Executive Branch of the State of Goiás, is an autonomous State entity, with administrative, financial and patrimonial autonomy, under the jurisdiction of the State Secretariat for Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (SEAPA), as per art. 52 of State Law No. 21.792 of 16 February 2023. AGRODEFESA is responsible for: I – implementing the State policy on animal and plant health; II – exercising police power over agricultural and livestock activities, including industry, as well as services related to products of animal and plant origin and their derivatives; and III – promoting certification activities for products of animal origin.
