Decree No. 11.452 creating the Rural Women's Productive and Economic Organization Programme and its Management Committee.

This Decree creates the Rural Women's Productive and Economic Organization Programme and its Management Committee, under the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Family Agriculture and the Ministry of Women. The Programme aims to promote the economic autonomy of woman in rural, water and forestry sectors, through the integration of public policies aimed at qualifying productive and economic processes, generating healthy and sustainable food and products, valuing work and strengthening women's organizations. The guidelines of the Programme for the Productive and Economic Organization of Rural Women are: promote gender, race, ethnicity and generational equality; recognize the different ways of life of traditional peoples and communities; promote nature as a common good of traditional peoples and communities; recognize that the responsibility for the care and reproduction of life must be shared between women and men, the society and the State; strengthen the feminist and solidarity economy; promote agroecology, sovereignty and food and nutrition security; recognize and value the diversity and plurality of the rural population; promote rural and territorial development; and promote the decision-making process in the management of family production units and economic enterprises.
