Decree No. 11.646 establishing the National Strategy for the Impact Economy and related Impact Economy Committee.

This Decree establishes the National Strategy for the Impact Economy and related Impact Economy Committee. The National Strategy for Impact Economy aims to articulate bodies and entities of the federal public administration, the private sector and civil society to promote an environment favorable to the impact economy. It regulates the economic modality characterized by the balance between the search for financial results and the promotion of solutions to social and environmental problems, through projects with a positive socio-environmental impact, allowing the regeneration, restoration and renewal of natural resources and the inclusion of communities, and contributing to an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economic system. The objectives of the National Impact Economy Strategy are: I - expand the supply of capital, through the mobilization of public and private resources destined to investment and financing for the impact economy; II - increase the number of impact businesses, through the dissemination of the socio-environmental impact assessment culture; III - strengthen intermediary organizations that offer support to the development of the impact economy, acting in the training and education of entrepreneurs; IV – promote an institutional and normative environment favorable to impact investments and businesses, through work with government bodies that work with the theme of investments, financial and economic impact instruments; and V - promote inter-federal articulation with States and Municipalities in the promotion of impact economy, by encouraging federative entities to regulate their activities in the area of impact economy.
