Abstract
This Decree establishes the National Circular Economy Strategy, with the aim of promoting the transition from the linear production model to a circular economy, in order to encourage the efficient use of natural resources and sustainable practices throughout the production chain, based on the principles of non-generation of waste, circulation of products and materials and regeneration. The objectives of the Strategy are: create a normative and institutional environment favourable to the circular economy; foster innovation, culture, education and the generation of skills to reduce, reuse and promote the circular redesign of production; reduce the use of resources and the generation of waste in order to preserve the value of materials; propose financial instruments to aid the circular economy, including; promote inter-federative articulation and the involvement of circular economy workers.
