Abstract
This Decree approves the Nordeste Development Fund (FDNE), created by Provisional Measure 2.156-5 of 24 August 2001, as a financing instrument for the National Regional Development Policy, aims to ensure resources for investments in the area of operation of the Nordeste Development Superintendency (Sudene): I. Infrastructure and public services and productive ventures with a high germination capacity for new businesses and new productive activities; and II. Funding for students regularly enrolled in non-free higher education and professional, technical and technological education courses.
