Abstract
This Decree regulates § 5 of art. 9 of State Law No. 9.048 of 29 April 2020, which establishes the Steering Committee of the State System on Climate Change (COGES Clima). The decisions of the Steering Committee will be formalized through resolutions. The State Secretariat for the Environment and Sustainability (SEMAS), without prejudice to its other responsibilities, is responsible for providing the Executive Secretariat services of the Steering Committee, providing the technical, administrative, and financial support essential to its operation. The Steering Committee of the State Climate Change System may, by resolution, establish Technical Chambers and Working Groups, on a permanent or temporary basis.
