Law No. 18.908 providing for the Incentive to Agroindustry in the State of Ceará.

This Law provides for the Incentive to Agroindustry in the State of Ceará, aiming to: I - stimulate the creation of new agro-industrial enterprises; II - encourage the regularization of informal agro-industries; and III - stimulate agro-industrial competitiveness. The principles of the Ceará State Agroindustry Incentive are: Economic, social and environmental sustainability of rural production chains; reduction of regional disparities, by encouraging the establishment of agro-industries in regions not suited to large plants; generating employment and income locally; Increasing labor productivity; innovation, modernization and technological development; health and food safety; reducing bureaucracy and simplifying administrative procedures; strengthening production chains; valuing local culture and identity; and inducing entrepreneurship.
