Abstract
This Law establishes principles and guidelines for actions to encourage sustainable tourism for the creative economy of Amazonas. Its objectives are: develop, organize and promote the sustainable tourism for the creative economy in the State; contribute to the reduction of regional social and economic disparities and promote better income distribution and social inclusion through the growth of job offers in the State tourism sector; increase tourist flows, stay and average expenditure of tourists in the State, through the promotion and support for the commercialization and development of the tourist product arising from the creative economy; democratize and provide access to tourism linked to the creative economy, contributing to increasing the cultural appreciation of the population; and promote the sustainable socio-economic development in the municipalities, favouring the Amazonian tourism as a cultural destination in Brazil.
