Abstract
The objective of this Agreement is to ensure an effective protection of environmental quality and effective management of toxic substances and pollutants in Saskatchewan. In particular, the Agreement covers the Canadian Environmental Protection Act 1985 and its relative Regulations, as follows: Pulp and Paper Mill Effluent Chlorinated Dioxins and Furans Regulations, Pulp and Paper Mill Defoamer and Wood Chip Regulations, Ozone-depleting Substances Products Regulations, Ozone-depleting Substances Regulations, Chlorobiphenyls Regulations, Federal Mobile PCB Treatment and Destruction Regulations, and Storage of PCB Material Regulations. Section 6 establishes that a Management Committee shall be established to direct and coordinate the implementation of this Agreement. The text consists of 10 Sections and 5 Annexes.
