Abstract
The present Regulations implements the Perfluorooctane Sulfonate Virtual Elimination Act (S.C. 2008, c. 13). Section 1 establishes that perfluorooctane sulfonate and its salts are added to column 1 of the Virtual Elimination List1, compiled under subsection 65(2) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999.
