Abstract
This Act may be cited as the Forest (Amendment) Act 1999 and shall be read together with the Forest Laws of 1967 to 1991 (hereinafter referred to as the "basic law") and collectively as the Forest laws of 1967 to 1999. Article 2 of the basic law is amended by adding the definition of the term "Forest building", the words "or obtained" immediately after the word "void" (third line). Article 13 is amended as follows: in addition to paragraph (h) of subsection (2) the words "forest building" immediately after the word "earth metal"(second line); and the substitution of the "building" in paragraph (g) of subsection (3) with "Forest building". Subsection (1) of Article 14 of the basic law is amended through the substitution of the paragraph (u) to (w) and by adding before it the new paragraphs: "(U) the prohibition or regulation of the marketing of any product or conduct any business or commercial activity in any state forest; (V) prohibiting or regulating the construction, occupation or settlement of tent, caravan, shoddy construction or other construction in any forestry area".
