Abstract
This Law provides for the delimitation of the territorial waters of the Republic. It extends up to a breadth of twelve nautical miles from the baselines (lines along the coast of Cyprus, the geographical co-ordinates of which are deposited with the Secretary-General of the United Nations). The Council of Ministers may, by Decision, amend the baselines. The waters on the landward side of the baselines form part of the internal waters of the Republic.
