The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the protection of groundwater.The text consists of 15 articles as follows: Definition of terms (1); Determination and description of groundwater bodies (2); Endangered water bodies (3); Classification of the quantitative groundwater condition (4); Criteria for the evaluation of the chemical condition of groundwater (5); Determination of the chemical condition of groundwater (6); Classification of the chemical condition of groundwater (7): Determination of bodies with less stringent targets (8): Monitoring of the quantitative and chemical condition of groundwater (9); Increasing trend of pollutant concentrations, trend reversal (10); Additional trend assessment (11); Presentation of groundwater condition and Trends (12); Measures to prevent or limit pollutants into groundwater (13); Economic analysis of water uses (14); Entry into force, repeal (15).
