Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Djibouti on the cooperation in the field of agriculture.

This Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Djibouti concerns the cooperation in the field of agriculture. The Parties agree upon cooperation in the fields of (i) plant production, (ii) animal husbandry and animal health, (iii) sanitary and phytosanitary measures, (iv) fisheries and aquaculture, (v) food industry, (vi) agricultural research, irrigation and extension services, (vii) rural development, and (viii) promotion of private sector. The Parties shall develop cooperation by exchange of scientific and technical documents, information, and of experts. The Parties may organize study visits, training programs, workshops, seminars, symposia, exhibitions, fairs and conferences. An Agricultural Steering Committee shall be established. This MoU may be amended by mutual written consent. The dispute may be solved through negotiation or consultation. This MoU shall be valid for five years and may be extended for successive periods of five years unless terminated by written notice requiring six months.
