Abstract
This Act aims to prevent health hazards, unnecessary environmental impact and environmental damage during production, storage, use and disposal of chemical substances and products in order to recude problems associated with waste disposal.
The Act consists of 13 Chapters and 2 Appendices: Scope and purpose (1); General provisions (2); Export notification (3); Classification, packaging, labeling and storage of substances and products (4); Purchase of toxic substances and products (5); Reducing the incidence and use of chemical substances (6); Approval of pesticides (7); Self-monitoring, information and testing required (8); Expert advice (9); Authorities (10); Court (11); Confidentiality, privacy and information disclosure (12) Exemption from entry in the Official Gazette of technical specifications (12a); Penalty and entry into force (13).
