Abstract
This Act aims to promote development and use of energy efficient and environmentally friendly energy-based products, in order to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact. The Act covers all forms of energy-based products introduced in the EU.
The Act consists of 7 Chapters: Scope, definitions (1); Introduction of energy-consuming products in the EU (2); Market surveillance, prohibition (3); Supervision (4); Appeals (5); Penalties (6); Entry into force and amendment provisions (7).
