Abstract
This Act promotes energy conservation and energy efficiency by appointing The Danish Climate and Energy Minister to help promote the realization of cost savings through campaigns, knowledge transfer, deployment and development and dissemination of standardized energy saving products and solutions.
This Act consists of 8 Chapters: Purpose and scope (1); Overall framework, prioritization (2); Centre for Energy (3); Energy savings in public institutions (4); Marking regarding energy consumption (5); Cost allocation for electricity, natural gas and district heating (6); Miscellaneous provisions (7); Entry into force, amendment provisions (8).
