Abstract
This Act sets regulations on the promotion of renewable energy production following climate, environmental and socio-economic considerations in order to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and to ensure security of supply and reduction of CO2 and other greenhouse gases emissions.
It consists of 12 Chapters: Purpose, scope and definitions (1); Measures to facilitate the deployment of wind turbines (2); Access to exploitation of energy from water and sea wind (3); Connecting and safety requirements for wind turbines (4); Adjustments of electricity offered for offshore wind (5); Surcharges (6); Administrative regulations (7); Energy Regulatory Body (8); Appeals, Energy Appeal Board (9); Injunctions and penalties (10); Entry into force (11); Changing rules (12).
