Abstract
This Regulation provides for air quality limit values; the rate of exceeding the permissible air quality limit value; air quality target values; the number of permitted exceedances of the air quality limit value and target value per calendar year; critical level of air quality; air quality alert level; the level of air quality information and the long-term objective; air quality assessment limits; the target for the reduction of the average exposure indicator for fine particles (PM 2.5 ) in relation to the base year and the term for the achievement thereof; and the obligatory level of air quality to be achieved. The Regulation consists of five sections: Scope of regulation (1); Air quality limit values, critical level, level of notification and alert (2); Indicator of exposure to particularly fine particles (PM 2.5 ) and mandatory achievable air quality level (3); Upper and lower assessment thresholds for air quality (4); and Entry into force of regulation (5).
