Agreement on cooperation between the Republic of Portugal and the Kingdom of Spain related to the International Park of Tagus River. This Agreement aims at the creation of the International Park of Tagus River (PITT), as well as at cooperating in all necessary actions to its management and protection carried out by the two Parties. The Agreement aims at coordinating activities in the following areas: a) Conservation of natural heritage; b) Promotion of socio-economic development; c) Sustainable use of biological resources; d) Promotion of public use and tourism; e) Investigation and development of knowledge; f) Environmental education; g) Coordinated inspection of the area; h) Technical capacity development; i) Dissemination of related natural, cultural and social values.
