Abstract
The present Directive aims at reducing the emissions of sulphur dioxide resulting from the combustion of certain types of liquid fuels and thereby reducing the harmful effects of such emissions on man and the environment. Article 8 hereto lays down particular amendments to Directive 93/12/EEC relating to the sulphur content of certain liquid fuels.
