Abstract
The present Act lays down rules on the Dispute Resolution Board for the Energy Market, an independent and impartial legal protection body that handles electricity market disputes initiated by parties other than consumers. The Board is tasked with providing recommendations on how individual disputes between electricity companies and end customers, concerning rights and obligations under the Electricity Market Act (588/2013) regarding electricity agreements referred to in Section V of the same Act and brought to the Board for review by parties other than consumers, should be resolved. The Act contains rules on concerning the powers and tasks of the Board, its composition, handling and resolution of electricity market disputes, among others.
