Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on the control of certain animal diseases classified as other animal diseases to be controlled (No. 326 of 2021).

The present Decree contains provisions for the control of certain diseases classified as other animal diseases to be controlled, concerning: 1) Measures to be taken to investigate the disease situation and prevent the spread of the disease; 2) Measures from which deviations may be made with a permit under section 32(3) of the Animal Diseases Act (76/2021) and the conditions for granting a permit; 3) Measures to be taken to eradicate each individual disease; 4) Ways to ensure that, in relation to each individual animal disease, the disease no longer occurs in the establishment or on any other site or that it no longer poses a danger. Furthermore, this Decree prohibits the vaccination of animals against certain animal diseases classified as other animal diseases to be controlled.
The Decree consists of 40 Articles, organized in the following chapters: 1. Control of anthrax; 2. Control of Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA); 3. Control of transmissible gastroenteritis (TGE) and porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) in pigs; 4. Control of brucellosis in pigs; 5. Control of Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTB complex) infection in non-bovine cloven-hoofed animals; 6. Control of Salmonid alphavirus (SAV), Carp Spring Viremia (SVC), and Koi Herpesvirus (KHV); and 8. Special provisions.
