Abstract
A Forest Management Association is a corporation of forest owners, aiming at the improvement of professional forestry knowledge and skills among its members and other forest owners in the district and to promote and develop forestry in other ways in the district (sect. 1). Eligible for membership of the corporation are forest owners who pay the "forestry fee" a tax to be fixed by the Taxation Board but levied by municipalities. Collected funds are administered by the Forestry Board also for the benefit of Forest Management Associations (sect. 14). (18 sections)
