Abstract
The Law provides for the legislative basis to public private partnership in Georgia, including rules and procedures for developing and implementing public private partnership projects; principles for public private partnership; its institutional system; and other issues related thereto. The Law consists of nine chapters: General provisions (I); Institutional framework for public private partnership (II); Developing a public private partnership project (III); Selection of a concessionaire (IV); public private partnership agreement (V); Guaranties and state support for public private partnership (VI); Monitoring and evaluation of public private partnership (VII); Governing law and dispute resolution (VIII); and Transitional and final provisions (IX). The Law, except for its Article 15 and Chapter IV, applies to both concessions and non-concessional public private partnerships.
