Abstract
This Law has been enacted in order to empower the Ministry of Fisheries to issue regulations intended to establish bounded conservation zones within the limits of the continental shelf of Iceland. The Ministry shall further adopt those regulations which are necessary for the protection of the fishing grounds within such zones.
