Abstract
This regulation applies to Icelandic vessels fishing in the NEAFC Convention Area outside national jurisdiction. It prohibits all fishing in listed coral-protection areas, except pelagic fishing with midwater trawls and purse seines, and defines the protected zones by coordinates. Breaches are subject to penalties under Icelandic fisheries legislation.
