Abstract
This Act provides for the licensing of regulated tourist enterprises and other measures for the regulation of the tourist industry.
Regulated tourist enterprises means any of the enterprises specified in the First Schedule to this Act. The Minister may, by Order published in the Gazette, amend the First Schedule. Licences shall be issued by a licensing officer appointed by the Minister under section 7. The licensing officer shall also have powers of inspection. Appeal against a decision of a licensing officer may be had with the appeal board established under this Act. The Minister may make Regulations for the better carrying out of the provisions and purposes of this Act.
