Environmental Law.

This Law governs: the principles of environmental protection and sustainable development entities and instruments for environmental protection, public participation on environmental issues and other issues of major importance for the Montenegro environment.
The environmental protection shall provide a complete protection of the quality of the environment, conservation of biological and landscape diversity, rational use of natural resources and energy in the best way for the environment as a basic condition for the healthy, clean, low impact and sustainable development of the national territory.
The basic principle of this Law is also the state duty aimed to protect the environment as its major wealth.
Integrated management of environmental protection is carried out in a manner to ensure a sustainable development in accordance with the provisions of this Law and special regulations made under it.
This Law is divided into 13 Chapters and 78 articles, including the offences and penalties.
