Regulation on the provision of house connections under water and sewerage projects in inhabited islands, no. R/90 of 2022.

This Regulation, issued pursuant to Section 8 (u) of Act No. 8/2020 (Water and Sewerage Act), provides for governing the process of providing water and sewerage connection services to households in inhabited island. The Regulation covers the following matters: categories to which water meter connections are provided without any cost: individual apartment, restaurant and food service centres, commercial and industrial services facilities, government offices, harbour area of each island; provision of sewerage junction (catch-pit) connection to households; procedure for providing water meter and catch-pit connection at an additional cost; providing water and sewerage connections to buildings at both sides of a road; requested documents to complete the application form for water and sewerage connections; standards to be followed in providing water and sewerage connection; surveys conducted to provide water and sewerage connections.
