Resolution No. 31/2024 approving the Urbanization Policy.

Given the need to ensure and guarantee the promotion of a more balanced urbanization and harmonious development of the territory, and to promote socio-economic development, fostering greater equity and spatial inclusion and the reduction of spatial inequalities, under the provisions of article 203 of the Constitution of the Republic, the Council of Ministers approves the Urbanization Policy. In particular, the mission of the Policy aims to ensure that planned and sustainable urbanization becomes a driving force for economic development and promotes inclusive, sustainable and resilient cities, and its Implementation Strategy will run for approximately twenty-six years (2024-2050).
