Abstract
The second comma of article 1 of the principal Act is amended. These provisions prescribe conditions for considering a fishing vessel as being a fishing vessel of the Netherlands: A fishing vessel is considered to be Dutch if it is exploited mainly from the Netherlands, mainly goes to port in the Netherlands, and belongs at least for two-thirds to one or more natural or legal persons of the European Communities. The Act has been amended in view of article 52 and 58 of the Rome Treaty. Exploitation of fishing vessels may also be carried out from branch offices. (new third comma of art. 1) (2 articles)
