Abstract
This Law provides complete rules for the sustainable use, management, protection and monitoring of fish stocks and fish as natural wealth of the Republic of Serbia.
The management of fish stock is regulated by the principal of sustainable use, which helps the preservation of fauna and ecological integrity of water ecosystems.
This Law sets standards for: fishing areas; fishing activities; preservation and protection of fish stocks; and trading and monitoring.
This Law is divided into 8 Chapters and 65 articles.
Fish stocks that are located into fishing waters are State property.
