Abstract
This Regulation determines the manner, methods, tools and equipment for the performance of commercial fishing and for the performance of recreational fishing, both intended on inland fishing waters of the Republic of Serbia.
Article 2 sets the essential rules as follows: commercial fishing can be performed with the use of nets, boom and self-propelled tools and equipment. The following tools and equipment are banned from commercial fisheries: hoops, baskets, curtains or harrows; twisting tools such as rake, three-hook, floating baits).
Articles 9, 10 and 11 are providing for recreational fisheries issues in terms of correct manner, methods, and permitted tools and equipment.
Entry into force notes
On the day if the entry into force of this Regulation, the Regulation on conditions, programme and method of undertaking of the professional exam for fisheries officers and professional exam for fishermen (published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia 7/2010) shall be no longer in use.
