Waste Management (Amendment) Act 2009 (No. 25 of 2009).

This Act amends the Waste Management Act by, among other things: redefining “the Authority”; inserting a new section (11A) which empowers the Board to delegate to the Chief Executive Officer any of the functions of an approved Authority, except specified ones; inserting a new subsection (6) in section 24, which prescribes a fine for commercial transportation of commercial wastes without a licence issued by an approved Authority.
