Abstract
This Regulation lays down rules for the retail, wholesale and storage of plant protection products approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry; the duties and responsibilities of retail dealers and wholesalers; minimum requirements for the selling and storage areas; traceability, registration, safety, distribution and control of plant protection products; procedures on the control of storages; the duties, authorities and responsibilities of inspectors; and administrative fines. This Regulation underlines that the placing to the market of plant protection products not approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is prohibited. Furthermore, in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation, only retail dealers and wholesalers authorized by the Ministry may make sell of plant protection products. The conditions specified in this Regulation are not required for plant protection product sales points and warehouses in the provinces that were damaged due to the earthquake occured on 6 February 2023 and were declared disaster areas, until 6 February 2024.
