Nutrient Runoff (Consolidated Laws of New York: Environmental Conservation Law; Article 17 Water Pollution Control; Title 21; 17-2101 17-2105)

This Title of Article 17 of the Environmental Conservation Law of New York restricts sale or use of phosphorus fertilizer and provides certain rules for local fertilizer regulation. It states that no person shall apply or authorize any person by way of service contract or other arrangement to apply in this state any phosphorus fertilizer on lawn or non-agricultural turf except in certain cases.
