Decree 111/2024, of 13-3-2024, approving the regulation of protected fauna species.

This Decree approves the Regulation of protected fauna species, which will enter into force the day after it is published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Andorra.
The Regulation classifies the protected species of fauna according to the following degrees of threat: 1. Extinct fauna species 2. Endangered fauna species 3. Threatened fauna species 4. Protected fauna species.
Species not included in this classification, but which are included in Annex II – “Strictly protected fauna species” – of the Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats of the Council of Europe, are considered threatened fauna species.
