The Law and Climate Change Toolkit is an online and free-to-use database intended to provide a global resource to help countries put in place the legal frameworks necessary for effective implementation of the Paris Agreement and nationally determined contributions. Through its Legal Assessment functionality, users can identify priority areas for climate law review and potential areas of legislative reform by answering a series of targeted questions about their domestic climate law regime. Each affirmative answer may give further questions while each negative response identifies a possible gap in the legislative framework. For each gap identified, the Toolkit will suggest exemplary legislation and specific provisions from legislation around the world that may assist in addressing that gap. By providing several examples for each gap, the user is free to assess the style and content of a legal provision that would best suit the needs of a specific country. The Toolkit also provides access to climate change-related legislation, both within overarching climate change laws and sectoral legislation, from around the world. Through the search function, users can search for relevant laws and provisions by way of a free text search and/or the use of a guided taxonomy including legal areas and cross-cutting categories.

The Inter-Organization Programme for the Sound Management of Chemicals (IOMC) is a collaborative initiative among UNEP, FAO, ILO, UNDP, UNIDO, UNITAR, WHO, the World Bank, and OECD. Its primary goal is to enhance cooperation and coordination in the field of chemical safety. The IOMC created the IOMC Toolbox, an internet-based platform designed to help countries pinpoint the most relevant IOMC resources, guidance materials, and training tools. These resources support the development or enhancement of national chemicals management schemes.

The Toolbox is specifically designed for countries seeking to tackle particular issues related to chemicals management. It serves as a problem-solving tool, guiding users toward the most appropriate and effective national actions to address their unique chemical safety challenges.

The Toolkit offers a groundbreaking global database of R2HE recognition and legal analysis. It provides insights into landmark rulings and other forms of recognition across jurisdictions, compiles country-specific legal profiles, and highlights cross-cutting legal approaches and practices. It also features expert reports and articles that explore the scope, content, and practical application of the right.
