Decree 131/2026, of 8-4-2026, relating to the amount of direct aid for the promotion of organic production.

This decree sets the updated financial amounts for direct aid aimed at promoting organic production in Andorra. Issued by the Government on 8 April 2026, it responds to the mandatory annual revision of aid linked to Law 18/2018 on organic production and quality schemes for agricultural and food products. According to Article 5 of that law, aid must be adjusted annually based on the percentage change in the general consumer price index (CPI).
The decree repeals the previous Decret 51/2025 and establishes two categories of direct aid per hectare per year: €4,425.55 for conversion to organic production, and €3,266.48 for maintenance of organic production. The figures are detailed in an annex. The decree enters into force the day after its publication in the Official Bulletin of the Principality of Andorra. The document thus reflects a routine, legally mandated updating mechanism, ensuring that economic incentives for ecological farming keep pace with inflation.
