Decree 290/2024, of 17-7-2024, approving the Regulation of waste managers.

This Decree approves the Waste Managers Regulation, the purpose of which is to define the obligations of public or private waste managers and the characteristics of waste transport and storage; establish and regulate the Register of Private Waste Managers of the Principality of Andorra; define the procedures and conditions necessary to obtain the mandatory authorization of a private waste manager, and establish the criteria for the bond and civil liability insurance that all authorized private managers must have.
The text sets up a number of obligations pending on public or private waste managers and provides procedural rules for the authorization and revocation of private waste managers; for the renewal, modification and extension of such authorization; for its extension or modification.
A Register is established of Private Waste Managers as well as a waste management control book that all authorized public or private manager must have.
Also requirements are foreseen for the transport and storage of waste.
