Abstract
The purpose of the Regulation approved by the present Decree is to create, determine and establish the functioning of the Commission for the Implementation of the CITES Convention, which includes the administrative, scientific and control authorities.
The function of the Commission is to coordinate and communicate for the cooperation in the implementation of the CITES Convention among the authorities responsible for implementing Resolution 18.6 (Conference of the Parties 18 to the Convention) “relating to the promotion of coordination and capacity-building”, which aims to facilitate the effective implementation and enforcement of the Convention, in accordance with their practices and national legislation.
