Decree 52/2025, of 19-2-2025, approving the regulation relating to the creation and use of the official seal “Quality meat of Andorran transhumant lamb and goat” and the creation of the promotion aid for the production of “Andorran transhumant lamb and goat”.

This Decree approves the Regulation relating to the creation and use of the official seal “Quality meat of lamb and goat from Andorra” and the creation of the aid to promote the production of “Quality meat of lamb and goat from Andorra”.The Regulation is composed by three chapters.
As established by Chapter 1, the Regulation aims to define the general provisions and conditions that must be met for the production of lamb and goat meat that is marketed under the official seal “Quality meat of lamb and goat from Andorra”; and to create the aid to promote the production of lamb and goat meat from Andorra and establish the criteria that must be met by agricultural holdings with livestock activity that can benefit from it.
Chapter 1 also sets up provisions concerning the “Quality meat of transhumant lambs and goats from Andorra” : an official mark owned by the Government of Andorra that is awarded to lamb and goat meat that is produced and marketed in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation and that is controlled in accordance with the provisions of Law 18/2018. Chapter 1 also establishes general provisions and conditions relating to meat production.
Chapter Two regulates the aid for the promotion of the production of “Quality meat from Andorran transhumant lamb and goat”: the beneficiaries, the type of aid, the criteria and amount of direct aid, the management, control and resolution of grants as well as its revocation, waiver and return of aid.
Chapter 3 sets the penalty regime.
