Abstract
The purpose of these regulations is to protect the health of citizens by developing Title I of the Law on Police and Protection of Waters of 31 July of 1985, and Articles 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 section b) of the General Health Law of 20 March 1989, in those aspects that may affect the sanitary quality of water intended for human consumption.
To this end, it states: 1. The health criteria that both water intended for consumption and water supply facilities must meet from its collection to its delivery to the consumer. 2. The criteria to be applied the for protection, control and surveillance of water. 3. The respective powers and responsibilities of all public and private agents and/or institutions carrying out activities related to recruitment, supply, transport, control and monitoring of water intended for human consumption.
